District 3 Victorville City Council

Community First

I’ve had the privilege of watching Victorville evolve from a small desert town to a vibrant city. My journey from resident and city worker to city council member and now Mayor has given me the insight and experience to lead Victorville into a bright future, always putting our community first.

To keep our city safe, I’ve advocated for a new police station on Civic Drive and Seneca as part of a broader Civic Center project. We need more deputies to meet our growing needs, and building trust between the community and police, especially among our youth, is essential. I support community policing and a public safety oversight committee to help reduce crime and strengthen community bonds.

Creating better job opportunities is crucial for our city’s growth. Many residents commute long distances for work, and I aim to change that by collaborating with corporations and supporting projects like the high-speed rail with Brightline and Metrolink expansions. Investing in workforce development and partnering with local educational institutions will prepare our residents for careers in technology, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.
Victorville is not just my home; it’s part of who I am, and my dedication to this community runs deep. On the City Council, I’ve championed Measure P to fund public safety and quality of life initiatives, addressing homelessness and crime, and upgrading city services, including our library. I’m passionate about enhancing community programs, developing a sports complex, and supporting youth initiatives. Improving city services, expanding library resources, and promoting electric vehicles are key priorities for a sustainable and prosperous Victorville.

Of the Community, For the Community.
