Community First.
Watching Victorville grow from a small desert town to a vibrant city has been a remarkable experience. From my beginnings in the public works department to my appointment as Mayor, I’m proud of the role I’ve played in our city’s growth.
Serving you has been an honor, and with your support, I aim to continue dedicating myself to Victorville and its residents.
My lifelong connection to Victorville has given me a deep understanding of what makes our city special and what it needs to thrive. On the City Council, I have focused on public safety, economic development, and ensuring every resident’s voice is heard. I’ve championed initiatives like Measure P, supported plans for a new police station, and worked to attract high-wage jobs. I am passionate about creating opportunities for our youth and enhancing city services, making Victorville a city we can all take pride in…Of the Community, For the Community.
Here is my plan
Liz Becerra’s family has deep roots in Victorville, dating back to the 1920s. She grew up playing basketball for the Victor Valley Jackrabbits and started her career at 18 at the Cemex plant before dedicating herself to the city’s public works department. Since joining the City Council in 2020, Liz has championed public safety by supporting Measure P and advocating for a new police station, while also working to bring better jobs to Victorville. Committed to serving her community, Liz focuses on expanding city services and promoting sustainability. An active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Liz also enjoys woodworking as a hobby and time with her family.
